Warner "Cat" Knight was born on October 31,1958 to the parentage of the late William Thomas Knight and Jessie Mae Knight Andrews. He joined Pine Flat Primitive Baptist Church at an early age where he remained a member until his homegoing.
He was known for being kind and generous, always extending a helping hand to those in need. Warner was a people person and lived life with joy and authenticity. He loved the outdoors and found happiness in cutting grass for the neighborhood, gathering scrap iron, fishing and most of all driving and riding everyday. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and outgoing carefree spirit.
On Thursday morning December 4, 2025 Warner Knight went home to be with the Lord while under the care of Regional Medical Center in Anniston, AL. His passing reunited him with his loving parents who awaited his entrance into heaven.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents; William and Jessie Mae Knight Andrews, Brothers; Willis, Stanley and Melvin Knight and special friend Horace "Ray" Robertson.
Warner leaves to cherish his everlasting love and memories to his: Companion of 24 years Catrenia Bailey, (4) Four daughters, Melissa LaShunn Washington (Terrance) of Opelika, AL, Lorietta Lynn Knight of Camphill, AL, Tramya Bailey (Dee) of Union Springs, GA, Wanda Nunn of Woodland, AL. (2) Two sons, Terrell Kirk of Opelika, AL, Dewayne Suite (Shun) of Maryland. (1) One brother, Elder Thomas Knight of Wedowee, AL, (3) Three sisters, Rebecca "Peggy" Angel of Newell,AL, Suzette Hughley (Benny) and Mary J. McLemore all of Wedowee, AL. Ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Special Caretakers; Benny Norris, Roy Robertson; Special Friends; Wayne, Derrick, Ivers, Bobby, Terry, Billy, Rob, J.C., Chris, Lewis and Mardene Willis. Finally, a host of nieces, nephews, and many more loving relatives and friends.
Warner will forever be loved and missed.
