Tony Goss was born on January 17, 1965, in Roanoke, AL, to the late Mrs. Betty Strong and Mr. Thomas Goss Sr.

He was a devoted Baptist by faith  and maintained strong ties with the Stateline Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, Georgia. Tony attended Handley High School in Roanoke, AL, and was renowned for his strong family values and unwavering commitment to his principles. Throughout the East Roanoke community, Tony was respected for his exceptional mechanical expertise, demonstrating a remarkable ability to repair a wide range of vehicles.

On Thursday evening, December 18, 2025, Tony passed away peacefully while under the care of the Bethany House in Opelika, AL.

He is survived by his seven siblings: Cynthia Bonner, Albert Owensby, Thomas 'Ben' Goss Jr., all of Roanoke, AL; Carrie Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia; Render Owensby of Carrollton, Georgia; and Patricia Kelley and Lucinda Goss, both of Franklin, Georgia.
