Timothy Allen Houston was born on April 4, 1959, in Wedowee, Randolph County, Alabama, to the late Runette Houston and Willie Bolding. At a young age, he became a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Houston was employed at Terry Manufacture in Roanoke, Alabama, for several decades and also worked in construction in Atlanta, Georgia, for many years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dancing. He was deeply loved by his family and friends.

Timothy's commitment to his family was unwavering, and his role as a husband, father, and grandfather was one he cherished deeply. He was an avid Alabama football fan, 'Roll Tide.' Laughter was a gift that Timothy generously shared with everyone around him. Known for his sense of humor, he had a unique ability to find joy in the simplest moments and to spread that joy to others. His jokes and laughter were the heartbeat of many family gatherings, and his presence was a source of light and warmth. Timothy was a great person and will truly be missed by all who knew him. Timothy was united in holy matrimony to Linda Houston on August 9, 1985.
On Thursday, January 1, 2026, Timothy quietly and peacefully transitioned from this walk of life at Baptist Health Citizen Hospital in Talladega, Alabama, with his loving family at his bedside.
Timothy is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Mrs. Linda Ann Houston of Valley, Alabama; two sons, Bernard Sheppard of Lineville, Alabama, and Allen (Kimberly) Houston of Lafayette, Alabama; five loving daughters, Beverly (Sam) Foster of Roanoke, Alabama, Stephanie (Ricky) Core of Valley, Alabama, Whitney Houston of Lineville, Alabama, LaTisha (Terry) Mangram of Lafayette, Alabama, and Mindy Turner of LaGrange, Georgia; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Houston of Douglasville, Georgia, and Jacquline Marable of Wedowee, Alabama; four brothers, Frank (Veresia) Houston of Wedowee, Alabama, Cleophus (Barbara) Houston of Woodland, Alabama, Tony Bolding of Wedowee, Alabama, and Clyde (Bessie) Bolding of Bowdon, Georgia; one aunt, Catherine (Curtis) Spidell of Wedowee, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
