Mr. Patrick Dunte Person was born on August 20, 1987, in Ashland, Alabama, to Burell Person and the late Mrs. Brenda Gibbons Person. He attended school in the Clay County School System and was a proud graduate of Lineville High School, Class of 2005. Patrick attended Springhill Baptist Church and was a devoted Baptist.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed listening to music and traveling to New Orleans with friends. Known by his family as a dedicated and hardworking individual, he spent many years as the Manager of Popeyes Chicken in Sylacauga, Alabama. His warm personality and kind heart earned him many friends and loyal customers throughout his journey.

On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Patrick peacefully transitioned into eternal rest at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved mother, Brenda.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Luvester Gibbons Person, and his grandparents, Archie Lee Gibbons and Odessa Mae Gibbons; CP and Mariner "Sis" Person.

Patrick leaves to cherish his loving memory: his father, Burell Person of Heflin, Alabama; his siblings, Carlton Person (Pamela) of Ashland, Alabama, Dexter Person and Marta Person (Lisa), both of Jackson Gap, Alabama, and Odessa Person of Bishop, California, Reginald Person (Dana) of Delta, Alabama;  along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
