Mr. James Street , was born on October 16, 1955 in Ashland, Alabama to the late Frank D. Wilson and Mary Jean Street.

At a later age he confessed to Christ and joined the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Shirleen Harvey .

James was employed by the Clay County Headstart as a custodian, until his health started to fail.

On Tuesday May 27, 2025, Mr. Street departed this life at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Mr. Frank D. Wilson and Mrs. Mary Jean Street. Wife Sybil Street, His grandparents Mrs. Mable McClemore, and Mr. Kain Wilson. Marion Street, Lela Bell Street.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His Brothers: Frankie (Princena) Street, Stanley (Therecia) Street of Anniston, AL. David (Mary Ann) Wilson and Charles Street all of Ashland, AL. His Sisters; Aletha Wilson, and Beverly Felton of Chicago, IL. Mrs. Sherrie Hayes Sims of Lineville, AL. Helen Wilson O'Neal of Kennesaw, GA. One aunt: Annie R. McClain of Anniston,AL. Finally a host of nieces, nephews, other family member and friends. His Best friend Jimmy Houston and a special cousin Jerry Street.
