Cashton Xavier Canady was born on June 8, 2000, in LaGrange, Georgia, to Gabriel and JeQuetta Stevens Canady. He was a devoted Baptist and attended various churches, including Christian Memorial Church in Roanoke, Alabama, New Life Christian Center in Opelika, Alabama, Gateway Family Church in Auburn, Alabama, and Reckless Love Worship Center in Tuskegee, Alabama. Cashton's deep faith in God was evident in his heartfelt praise.

A 2018 graduate of Opelika High School, Cashton enjoyed music from diverse genres during his leisure time. He was renowned within his family for his exceptional cooking skills and love for food. Cashton's presence was often characterized by his radiant smile, which illuminated the room whenever he was with family or friends.

Cashton was predeceased by his niece, Caylee Grace Canady.

On Sunday, April 5, 2026, Cashton peacefully passed away at Piedmont Columbus Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

His love for life will be cherished by his loving family, including his parents, Gabriel and JeQuetta Canady; siblings, Creston Canady, Cathy Canady, Theron Eason, and Josiah Bates; grandparents, Gary and Brenda Wright, Valarie Canady, Thomas Stevens, and Jeanetta and Jacob Springer; great-grandmother, Katherine Shepherd; and his niece, Samaj Canady, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.

Public Visitation will be Sunday April 19,2026 at the funeral home from 3:00-6:00PM CST/ 4:00-7:00PM EST.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday April 20, 2026 at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett,AL at 11:00 A.M. CST/ 12:00 NOON EST.
