Billy Joe James, 63, passed away on November 9, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. Born on September 7, 1962, in Summerville, Georgia, Billy brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

Billy was a man known for his humor and warmth. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh, often lifting spirits with his quick wit and infectious personality. His caring nature touched many lives, but none more deeply than those of his grandchildren, whom he cherished above all else.

He is survived by his four daughters: Tiffany Cannon, Danielle James, Latha Swain, and Starr Allen. His legacy continues through his eight beloved grandchildren. Billy also leaves behind three sisters, one brother and many loving nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

In passing, Billy is reunited with his mother, father, and brother.
