Mrs Arra Will Birdsong was born June 14, 1939 in Randolph County, AL. To the parentage of the late Burdett and Thersa Bell Staples.

At an early age she joined Cogar Hill CME Church in Daviston, AL; under the leadership of Rev. Michael Perry and served faithfully until her health declined and she was no longer able to attend.

Arra was employed with the Randolph County School System for over thirty years as a Child Nutrition Assistant, she spent all of those years at Wadley High School. Following her retirement she continued to serve her beautiful community of Wadley; as she often rendered home care to the elderly.

She was preceded in death by her parents ; Burdett and Thersa Bell Staples, brothers Cleveland and George Staples, and her son Stanley Birdsong Sr.

On Wednesday October 29, 2025 Mrs. Arra Will Birdsong entered into eternal rest at the beautiful age of 86 years old, while under the care of Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.

She Leaves to cherish her memories: Son Robert Birdsong ( Deborah). Grandchildren Tiffany Birdsong, Stanley Birdsong (Janie) Robert (Robbie) Birdsong. Great-grandchildren, Adriana, Ariana, Skylar, Levi, Jasmine, Kalani. Special cousins Betty Nathan and Nolan Staples and a host of nieces nephews and other loving relatives.

Final Care and Arrangements For Mrs. Arra W. Birdsong have been entrusted to: Central Alabama Funeral Home in Lineville, AL.
